Fair trade & unique hand made jewellery, crafts & grow your own cress animals from Mexico and Latin America.
Tumi was founded in 1978 by Mo Fini when he first travelled to Latin America and fell in love with the land and the culture and the people he met. Becoming absorbed by their rich craft heritage he gradually started bringing handicrafts back to the UK. The Tumi philosophy has always been based on fair trade and long term commitment to the artisans. Mo worked closely with organisations such as Traidcraft and Oxfam and was a pioneer in developing an organisation that was both a viable business but based on fair trade principles. Our range includes a great variety of hand made jewellery ranging from unique sterling silver pieces set with semi precious stones to earrings made from natural materials such as seeds, feathers and even fish bones! If you follow our link you can see more of what we have on offer. We believe we have something for everyone as well as a budget for everyone. We also offer the highly popular "grow your own cress sheep and llama" which makes a fun and environmentally friendly gift (It can be re-used over and over again) for people of any age. Our recycled tin animal wall plaques made in Mexico are also very popular as gifts. Designs include lizards, dragonflies, pheasants amongst others. We love being part of Winchester Christmas market and wish all our customers a happy, healthy and safe time over Christmas. Just as we forge close relationships with the artisans who make our products we love to meet and chat with our customers, especially at the Christmas market. So, in these strange and challenging times we hope our fair trade gifts and jewellery can spread a touch of joy and happiness.
